Here are some of the conditions we treat:

Enamel fluorosis

If your child feels uncomfortable because of white streaks on their teeth, we can help. Called enamel fluorosis, this condition occurs in childhood, while teeth are forming beneath the surface of the gums. We can use veneers, whitening, and other techniques to help restore a clean, fresh appearance to your child’s teeth, so they can smile with confidence.

Fluoride treatment

Fluoride treatments can help strengthen the enamel of your child’s teeth. Enamel is the hard outer layer of each tooth, and protects teeth from decay or infection. Unfortunately, enamel naturally degrades over time, so we use fluoride to help rebuild damaged enamel, a process called remineralization. This can help keep your child’s teeth looking and working well.

Tooth-colored fillings

Despite your best efforts, your child may end up with a cavity and need a filling. One of our skilled, friendly dentists will gently remove the damaged tooth structure and place a filling, using a safe, tooth-colored material called composite. This allows the filling to blend in with your child’s natural teeth, so they can feel comfortable and confident after their appointment.

Sealants

We use dental sealants to give your child’s teeth an additional layer of protection. Made from thin plastic, sealings are applied to the surface of teeth, typically the hard-to-reach back molars, to help cover the natural enamel and prevent decay. The sealant itself acts as a barrier between bacteria and the tooth structure itself.

Bonding

If your child feels self-conscious because of a chipped, cracked, or discolored tooth, we can help! Using a tooth-colored resin that will blend in with their natural teeth, we can perform a technique called bonding that will repair minor defects in your child’s mouth and help them feel confident enough to smile.

Space maintainers

Space maintainers can help guide your child’s adult teeth and make sure they erupt in the proper place. We offer a range of different maintainers to fit your child’s specific needs.

Crowns

If your child’s tooth is damaged, we can create a crown to go over the tooth and protect the remaining tooth structure. Made from beautiful porcelain, crowns mimic the appearance of a healthy, natural tooth, and can be custom designed to your and your child’s specifications. Our kind, skilled dentists care deeply about making sure your child feels safe and relaxed during the procedure, and will have their mouth looking great in no time!
